Hi there this is my new play thing > PicAxe 08m2 < and i was just trying to learn how the thing works , you know servo ADC ,LED, Tone , come up with a cool little 1 pin light fowling circuit, the 10k resistor may not be necessary
and i had this tin toy. so i assimilated it resistor is futile < ok that's funny to me , well a bit. most of the bits are recycled from hear and there apart from the 08m and the LDR's , I have an (in) left over ,i might put a PRI in him to set him off ? ill see and a massive 38 line's of code This is about learning and having a bit of fun with it :)

Definitely a nice "retro"
Definitely a nice "retro" robot design. Looks like a robot toy from the 1950s or 60s and I like his light/dark tracking ability.

Thanks :)
ive had him for a wile and it's an idea that's been in the back of my mind since i got him, there are lots of other cooler looking tin robots out there and there only a few $

Love the update.
The servo jitter gave it an extra scared shake as it looks around for the light source. You probably should scale this up to give you more room to work in.
Keep up the good work!

yes he was up all night drinking coffee LOL,,fine tuning is needed and some way to set him off. At the moment he goes threw a few little programs the light fowling is in amongst them , :) ,

Thanks :)
it's possible to get him to "waddle around " even navigate and wave his arms . i just did not have the parts or pins on the picaxe 08m2 most of it is salvage servo and led's, and ive had the idea for awhile for my first pickaxe project it's kinda cool thanks again
there's a link on the robot post for the shop i got the tin toy from i would love to see some other versions :)
