Oh, this is professional...
Dig it. If you have phatty budgets and a professional job for a paying customer, bimba is your place. I have used their stuff for a while now with different projects. They are the real-deal, "industry" and all-that. They would have everything you would need and probably have engineer-type people to talk to in terms of applications and stuff.
Bimba, awesome company with a bunch of cool stuff, period.

>> air compressor regulator
>> air compressor regulator will do that --about 5 or 10 bucks from a hardware store
I may need to do this, but space constriants play a part, however the regulator can be located elseware.
>> Come to think of it, you could just use a blow-gun with a servo pushing the button.
Well, from a professional standpoint I don't think my customers will appreciate something rigged together on their $1.2 million conversion, but thanks for the suggestion ;) Now if there is something out there already designed like this it may work, but it can't be something "rigged".
The Vex Solenoid is the smallest I have found so far, however It can't be purchased by itself. So if anyone out there knows who makes it please pass it on. I'm sure they make others that are non-proprietary. It also operates on 5v which is perfect.
But thaks, I'll look up Bimba
[EDIT]
The Vex regulator is also what I am looking for if anyone has info on where I can find them. Searching just brings up the regulare regulators.

Vexx have a line of pneumatic equipment for robotics. It`s pretty expensive but worth taking a look maybe.
Any hints on what it`s going in? :)

I need about 5psi. This
I need about 5psi. This mainly is to clear the tubes of derbies, I have pressure sensors that then read the back pressure coming back into the tub when not pressurized. I have 2 options, 1) use a small air pump, which I have found but they are salty and takes about 5 weeks to get unless I order 100's of them at a time. Or 2) I can use the onboard air supply which is 120psi. So I would need to regulate that down to 5psi, and control it with a solenoid when I need to clear the tube.
I'll check with Vexx, thanks
EDIT
The Vex Solenoid and pressure regulator look like what I am looking for, but it doesn't appear that I can buy just those.
