Vendor's Description:

DAGU will now stock polymorph and can offer you 1Kg for $22 USD. Admittedly shipping cost will increase that price but if you are ordering several other parts from us as well then it should work out good value for money. 1Kg will last a long time unless you are making very big robots. Comes in a re-useable plastic box.

Polymorph is a plastic that melts at very low temperatures. Placing poymorph in a cup of hot water is all it takes for this plastic to go from a hard white nylon like material to a soft clear putty that can easily be shaped by hand. Once cooled it will return to a tough white plastic. Perfect for prototyping!

Please email Claudia to place an order.

Polymorph is actually Polycaprolactone which is non-toxic and biodegradeable. Below are some links to tip/walkthroughs on using polymorph.

I have tried contacting Claudia to buy a few kgs, but no reply so far. Is this still avialable and how can I get  some

There are several different names this stuff goes by.

Besides Polymorph, it's also called:

Shapelock

Friendly Plastic

U MOLD Plastic

It's great stuff.

Claudia left DAGU not long after she got married. I do not know which distributors sell it but you can contact DAGU directly here: sale@dagurobot.com

I cant wait to try this stuff for myself. Hope I can find a UK supplier to buy it from.

maplins, that's where i got mine when i was over there in the UK.

How would I buy anything from DAGU that is not listed on the specials for LMR members page? (I'm not sure if I'm making any sense, but I mean if DAGU has a web site or a catalog)

Sam R.

I received mine in the mail Thursday and immediately started fabricating. This stuff is great and even with the expensive shipping it was cheaper than shapelock.
theres also shapelock for those who want smaller quantities in the US
