Super beginner

hey guys, any chance i can find a dictionary or a glossary of words and terms used in robotics?? I have just introduced to robotics and i rerally would like to build one of mine own but i know nothing about so i am searching all over the internet i so i can learn...  any chance for a little help?

If you really are a super begginer, do not start off with anything lower than basic!, the msot common language for robotics is c++, learning c++ for a begginer will be a massive headache, so i sugggest using something programmed via basic, the options are Pixace(Most popular on thease forums), Parallax basic stamp(quite good, but really exspensive) and the basic atom(I have no experience with thease so i cant comment). I would reccomend you get a picaxe, there relativly cheap, easy to program(If you dont like basic you can use flow charts!), and its dead easy to connect motors and servos too!, take a look at the start here robot linked above, that uses a picaxe 28x1

If you find a term you don't recognise try wikipedia or dictionary.com, they're both good resources. I think there are a few robotics specific wikis out there too, but I've never used them.
