the search box
I'm sure someone has thought of this before, but it would be really silly if nobody had:
We're really looking forward to LMR II, but it's a shame the search box is still not gonna work. Have you considered using Google as search box? http://www.google.com/cse/?v They have all the info you need on their pages, and it's free. But you need a Google account.
I've seen it used on a load of pages, you end up with a small Google logo inside your search box, and the result page looks like a normal Google page, but only has hits from your own site and your own logo on top.
The drawback is that the result page is riddled with Google ads
Here's an an example, it's a search for "robot" on Make: Magazine http://www.google.com/cse?cx=008032414425079535247%3Akplxrakvu20&q=robot&sa=Search
Here's how computer guru Dave Taylor does it: http://www.askdavetaylor.com/how_can_i_add_a_google_search_box_to_my_web_site.html Since He's a feinschmekker his code is sexier and the result looks better.

Having the results page at Google is for suckers ;)
