Usually used for art, craft and photography. But I touched one of these and thought "Wow, it's as strong as styrofoam, just as light and it won't leave as much of a mess as styrofoam when you cut it".

 Surprisingly, It was just a bit stronger than stryrofoam, here's a comparison.

Price

Foam Board - Depends the specifications and where you buy from. Most likely to be cheap.

Styrofoam - Free with packaging, but you don't know what shape, and you won't know if you're actually getting it. So just buy it.

Plastic - Compared to these two solutions, it's expensive.

Strength

Foam Board - A bit Stronger than styrofoam

Styrofoam - Very easy to break

Plastic - Very strong

Weight

Foarm Board - Very light

Styrofoam - Very light

Plastic - Medium to Heavy

Versitility

Foam Board - Can replace the Styrofoam in many areas, and probably can be used in more areas than Stryrofoam

Styrofoam - Very messy to cut. Never use it to build a boat to float on top of nail polish remover.

Plastic - Very Versitile

Try it, it might be worthwhile
