How do you choose motors for something like http://letsmakerobots.com/node/87 ?

I've bought two motors (no gearbox, just motors), hooked them up and expected it all to be a little bit "nervous". However, they can't move even that little thing, only can spin in the air.

So... what would you guys recommend? Could anybody just give a little explanation, like "Motors FAQ for dummies"?

Got the point, I should have geared ones. :)

Apparently, the motors I have work pretty well also... when the power is 12V or above. Will try to work it out somehow.
