Both of these sites are great! MicroZed is way to expensive. I got the 28X starter kit $30 cheaper at little bird than it was at MicroZed

Someone know where can I buy Picaxe in Brazil??? Please help me!

You won't find them in a store and most countries don't have an online store in their country. You will probably have to buy it online from another country. Search our site for Where to buy Picaxe. Better yet I did it for you ;)

ok whats up with people in college asking broad questions? Over and over again people ask this. How about you make a forum and say what you want to make and be more specific, but you shouldnt start with a big project you need to blink a led first and move from there. Or buy some parts to play around with. OR MAYBE CLICK THE START HERE BUTTON!!!. http://letsmakerobots.com/start

It would seem that your best bet is to order directly from Rev Ed. in the UK.

HIIIIII

i'm from india and i need some parts free of cost(sample parts).

can i get adress from india.let me know.

Step 1: Open your favorite internet browser. Better yet you're reading this so step one COMPLETE!
Step 2: go to google.com
Step 3: search for PICAXE in India.
Step 4: realize that there are likely no stores or insternet sites in India that sell picaxe and buy from somewhere else.

When ordering internationally I have found that tech-supplies.co.uk seems to be the cheapest when you take currency conversion and shipping into account. I live in the US and it is cheaper to order from them than SparkFun which is in the US.

The previous order I did was on thursday of last week, it shipped friday  but didn't say when it would arrive in the email(good ole usps) based on the usps tracking, it was in my postal area by sunday and arrived on monday...

unless you're in the boonies, I wouldn't imagine it'll would take 2 weeks...maybe thats the max time it should take?

They ship from Co, but usually it doesn't take too long for me on the west coast(southern Cali). I just placed an order today....expecting it around friday or saturday as I missed the shipout deadline for today. I'm using usps snail-mail. I'm surprised it would take so long for far east coast?

does it say itll come later then it really does?

For Sparkfun, the shipping says it takes 2 weeks, is that the maximum, does it actually, can anyone relate, I live on the east coast.

East coast of the US? There's no way it'd take 2 weeks. I've ordered from them many times, it always ships out the same day, and with USPS Priority Mail shipping I have it 2 days later. I'm in Knoxville, TN, so also East Coast US.

I have to give a thumbs up to sparkfun, they've been great with their speed in deliviering and seem pretty reasonable with the prices.

Took 3 days with the cheap snailmail delivery.

Plus they accept paypal and seem to be able to deliver out of the country....

I wish they had more types of ic's but mouser seems to be able to cover that.

may i get the information that how to get picax in india

is there is any alternative of picaxe ?

if yes then please let me know

thank u

$29 for sparfun, as opposed to the UK based retail... tech supplies, which is better, coming with cord, software, documentation, and microcontroller, cheers mate!

Anything that can happen, will.

jklug80's picture
Sparkfun sells the cable seperately. Sparkfun is a better deal if you are using the seriel cable, but the USB cable is like $25.
tommykewls's picture

here is a site with some picaxe stuff, but it isnt the same as what is shown here, but it is from the US, and i noticed he has an ebay store as well... http://www.phanderson.com/picaxe/
