This is for the Olympics challenge. It can lift heavy things(for its size and its own weight). It lifts thingsand holds them up for 3 seconds. And then, after it puts the object to the ground again, It says "Fantastic !" after it succeds.
Well, actually, even I was surprised when it lift that rock !

I would like to see it pick
I would like to see it pick up something that was on the table rather than its grippers.

Easy
This model is probably the easiest to build. You just need a NXT kit and you are up and running. Try Tetrix parts for NXT and RobotC for programming language (Experience may be needed).
Anyone can probably build this robot under 45min.
