PolyMorph Workshop 4 - How to make a PolyMorph Screw
This Workshop shows how to fabricate screws using PolyMorph.(recommended supplier)
Non stream link :- PolyMorph Workshop 4 - PolyMorph screws
I needed to make some screws for a camera mount so what you see is my solution.
The Idea is to stuff the Hot PolyMorph into the existing screw hole, be careful to prepare the hole before hand either by very lightly watering or oiling the screw hole, failure to do this may get your poly stuck in the screw hole.

Then is a simple case of stuffing the PolyMorph into the screw hole, making sure that its pressed down deep into the hole.

Place some more PolyMorph on so you can make a base for putting screw holes in.

Let it cool off and remove and admire your new creation.

The property of the PolyMorph Screw is simular to nylon.

Here is my Blue one.......

Safe as Houses.

Thanks a lot for putting
Thanks a lot for putting this little tip inside my heads box of options, Gareth :)
I have filed it next to CtC's how to cut brass tube, that I ue for cutting brass/chrome radio-style antennaes all the time.
Recently I was mounting the antenna of an old WiFi router on a wooden stick, by blobbing a bit of hot glue on the stick. Without thinking much, I screwed the antennaes hollow part onto the blob of hot glue. Later I wanted it off again, and to my surprise it screwed right off, leaving a nice little male screw back on the stick. And I could actually easily mount it back on it again, just by screwing.
Man that was a lot of times writing screw, without any twss :P

Polymorph = Win!A while ago
Polymorph = Win!
A while ago I made a clone of the spur gear on the clutch for my nitro RC buggy, So I could use it with an electric motor, it worked, for a while, a 3.5Kg RC car takes some force to move, force = heat :(
