Floating ADC inputs

Just been reading about floating analog inputs. I understand it a lot more than I did, thanks to you guys on here, but I'm still not 100% on the subject.

What I really need to know, is...

Do all the ADC inputs on my Picaxe 28X1 project board need jumpers on them? Even though I'm not using any analog inputs.

Thanks Lads,

The Bromz.

Thanks guys.

User nuumio ran into ADC issues, because he didn't control the input voltage on the unused ADC pins.

You can skip to the comments, if you don't feel like reading about nuumios project. But he describes pretty well, what is happening.

I think the point of tying your analog lines down (or up) is primarily to avoid noise on one from affecting the others. So it is not critical to tie them if you are not using any analog.

When in doubt, pull them down or up. Shorting block would be the mst convenient way, IF you own a few....
