At a famliy weekend.. Everyone is talking, talking, talking.. Uh, what is that? Some Lego.. Oh, and a rubber band.. Hmm, what was it about my camera, it could take low quality, but high speed movies?

Enjoy :)

This should be a reminder for all Lego people ! "Never drink and drive" or your lego innards will be splattered all over the carpet.

Nice documentation Frits of this horrific tragedy.

I love the low-definition slow motion carnage =)

it a Dane's national duty to play with lego. When I was a boy with my brother we use use to build cars from lego as strong as possible and then smash them together until one or both fell apart. The winner's car held together. Would have been nice to film in slow motion but that was way before digital anything. Heheh.

Going to be cool when even HD is cheaply available in fast motion recording!

Just hope the kids today appreciate it, that they can film their chrashes in high speed :)

the other day i filmed 2 firecrackers in slow motion, and they look epic.

Kids are really appreciating the slow motion these days.

Let's see that video! :D

here is one, the other 1 doesn't look as good: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKmAqtgFoLs

the quality isn't that great, but it still looks awesome.

i can upload the raw footage if anyone wants it.

This camera is so cool ,where did you get it?

Fujifilm HS10 (or HS11 in some countries, is same camera)

Can be found everywhere.

Also has great zoom, check this: These 2 pictures are taken from same spot:

You can take pictures of the moon where craters are totally visible! Cool :D

There are a couple alternatives to this camera. As far as I remember, gareth owns the casio exilim ex-fc100, which does the same quality slow motion video. However it is still somewhat expensive. I recently bought the exilim ex-fs10, for 80 eur. It also does slow motion video, up to 1000 fps @ 224x56 pixels. I usually shoot 210fps @ about 640x480. It also shoots 720p hd video, and the battery lasts a decent amount of time.

Just my two cents
