dose any one know how or were i can get a cheap analog digital converter?
You can go overly complex and use dual schmitt triggers via opamps :) It's not quite adc, but it gives you 2bit resolution...
time the decay of an RC circuit. not very accurate, but cheap and readily available
Take your pick.
Whats the difference ?
Probably number of channels.
Next time I will be getting the mcp3208 cause mcp3202 is not enough for my needs.
I use mcp3202 with my prop and it is ok .
You can get free samples from microchip's site .(Thats what I did ...)
thanks this will help alot.
More info, please. What is the analog signal you are trying to convert? What's the amplitude range? How about the speed?
You can just use an analog input of a micro (PICAXE, Arduino, etc) to convert a 0-5V level analog signal to a digital value. Is that all you need?
im trying to convert the analog signal from a sharp gp2y0a21.
ps i am useing the propeller
