An 8-pin Arduino for your tiny projects
Matt Richardson of MAKE Magazine posted this video on how to flash an 8-pin micro with Arduino code. It is based on work done by the MIT High-Low Tech lab.
If you like using the Picaxe 08m for small project, but would prefer to stay Arduino compatible, this may be a good approach for you.

I was considering trying this as I have some Attiny45/85 chips...but I don't have a 328 proc. :/
