Sensor seeking.

Let's Make Robots! Hello LMRians! I ordered some parts and i order more in few weeks.

I want to do my own sensor using LDR,IR led and normal leds. And yes, it's going to be something like AmandaLDR but not exactly same.

The sensor is going to my mini sumo, project what i'm working for. It's using Picaxe-08M. What do you think about it?

i like the idea of a sumo using a 08M  .if you could help me just a few ?'s

what are you going to use to get around ?

what sort of battery are you using  ?

whats driving the motors ?

how do you know when your out of the ring ?

are you going have some kind of opponent sensor?   

How do you test it ?

what good web links do you have for robosumo?

I can still give few answers:

1. I'm going to use DG01D motors (Dagu)

2.I use LDR to know when i am out of the ring

3. I use 3x AA batteries

4. I use Sharp Ir GP2Y0A21YK0F Analog Distance Sensor 10-80 cm to know where opponents are.

5. It's two wheeled.

6. I debug code and try many times

7. I have few links but i don't remember them now
