Robots on commission?

Hi,

I wonder if anyone could help me to build a robot on commission?

The robot should be able to push buttons and read a display on a small box.
The idea is that from a PC order the robot to  press buttons
on a small box and read the numbers showed on a display.

The robot should be connected to a PC via a USB cable. A program on the PC control the robot.
If the character "1" is passed to the application button "1"
is pressed down and so on.
Up to 20 buttons can be controlled by code "0" to "9" and "A" to "J".
If an "R" is sent read display digits.

Is this possible?

How much are you looking to spend?

Hi,

sorry for the delay.
I have no clue what the cost is to develope a robot solution like this. You have to tell me.
If it works we will need about 20 items. The idea is to make the work for me and my
colleagues easier. We put a number of order every day in a computer system and
for each order we have to confirm it with a code from a digipass box or a similar box.
We can, after some modification of our computer system, connect this solution to
our system and make this work go automatic.
I will be away for 10 days now with limited access to internet so please be patient
with my answer.
