My First Robot

I built this robot back in December 2004.  I had received an issue of Make Magazine from a BYU-UUG meeting and found an article about how to make a light seeking robot out of an old mouse using simple electronics (most of which came from the mouse itself).

 This was a fun project but I didn't continue with robotics until I came arcoss Frits' robot, Yellow Drum Machine.  It re-ignited my desire to tinker around and build another robot.  So I came to letsmakerobots.com, created an account and started to build my own drum machine!

Have any videos of this guy in action?

I've never really taken the time to build a mousey, but it was what got me more interested in robotics.

Sorry I don't have any videos and unfortunately mousey has suffered the ravages of old age and neglect ;)  If ever end up repairing it though I'll be sure to post a video.
