First time I've run it in the lab in ages and all the little metal bits I cut out of aRDui5X's shiny metal ass are still embedded in the carpet. Also it's ignoring the virtual walls. I know I'm mixing memes here but I had to vent.
Roomba is dissapoint in you for working him so hard!
Unfortunately the Roomba struggles with heavy particles such as metal bits and sand. It is great at picking up dust and pet hair and is therefore perfect for people with pets. We also use it to pick up all the crumbs our kids drop on the floor.
You need a powerful vacuum to get those tiny metal bits out of the carpet. Roomba works, but it's not perfect. However, it make a good base for a butler robot... with the added bonus that it can also vacuum the rooms if needed.
