Sounds like you want to make a robot synthesiser :)

From what I've read of the data sheet so far, with its large memory and the way it's organised you could store 100's of short sounds and play them back in any order.

Warning, this ic is not for the faint of heart. Although wiring is fairly straight forward.

The configuration may be a challenge as everything is configurable. The datasheet is 56pages!!!
