il give it another go tomorrow im a bit busy today

thanks for all your help

I use the built in editors "preview" option to try and get it right before posting but still have to hit enter a few times to get it right. You just have to experiment a bit.

Ever read my blog? It uses tables to align images with text. However, it is a bit of chore to make it like that.

I prepare the entire html in my local editor (Amaya) and then transfer the HTML-CODE directly into the online LMR editor. Make sure to disable rich-text. Look below.

(Also, check out the FAQ. It contains some general pointers about posting on LMR. Which we all want you to do!!! )

Another option uses the builtin features of the online editor. Here's a quick experiment.

cap_lmr_ctcversion.png This one has "alignment" not set. You could add text top it by writing some after the image on the same line/paragraph. But is scrolls away from the image.

cap_lmr_ctcversion.pngThis has alignment set to "top". This text is written on the same line. I suppose if I write enough text here to force a newline, we would see how it aligns with the image. Not nice.

cap_lmr_ctcversion.pngOK, another one. Alignment is set to "texttop". This text is written on the same line. I suppose if I write enough text here to force a newline, we would see how it aligns with the image. Pretty much the same problem.

cap_lmr_ctcversion.png Alignment is now set to "Left" .This text is written on the same line. I suppose if I write enough text here to force a newline, we would see how it aligns with the image. blablabla: it looks GOOD! Every new word stays with the image. Let's see what happen when I hit Enter in 3, 2, 1

Still with the picture! This is my new fav setting!

Now How do I escape this image? I want to start a new paragraph at the left margin now! HELP!

enter

Seriously! This is no longer funny guys!

get me out of here...

enter

enter

See: I had to insert so many Enters (new paragraphs) that the flow of the text totally got flubbered. (I think that is the technical term used by typesetters.)

cap_lmr_ctcversion.pngSo, one more. Alignment is now "right". I think you can guess where this is going. Let's fill some space with quick brown foxes: Quizdeltagerne spiste jordbær med fløde, mens cirkusklovnen Wolther spillede på xylofon.

Yeah: it still takes a few extra enters...

But that only matters when you need to place another images underneath this one.
