Hi Tom,

I faced the same problem a few months ago. Couldn't find anywhere in the UK/EU to buy F-F jumpers. Eventually I bought a pack of single female header pins from either Rapid or RS, crimped and soldered them onto lengths of wire, and covered the headers with 1.5mm heat-shrink from Maplin to insulate the ends. There's a more deatiled write-up somewhere on LMR.

Thanks mike.
looks like ive got soldering practice coming up then.
though i do like the whole home built idea of it all.

In theory you can just crimp them with a pair of needle-nose pliers. I like to solder them as well to make sure. Once you've got the hang of it, and the parts to hand, you can knock them out in no time.
Thanks Mike, ill try that at some point. ive found a place for them, http://www.coolcomponents.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=199, however £2.69 for 10 seems abit much for me.

Not in the UK, but there is this link and it may be possible to look up some additional distributors for some additional links I added.

Thanks Robologist.
was looking at the start here for inspiration with Mr Basic and needed jumpers.
