Sorry Frits, I couldn't resist a bit of teasing over this. I will pospone judgement but in fairness to those who have entered my competition I will stop accepting entries after tonight.
Changing the deadline the day before hardly seems fair. Yes it gives more people time but it also penalizes those of us who worked within the original time line.
Glad you brought this up. I am not a fan of the five-star-system. It is very hard to make a comparative judgment with it. Almost all Mr Basic bots receive the highest marks. They all show about a 4.5 star average. Only the number of votes vary.
And that number varies with age. This system would promote the older entries over the newer ones (still struggling with mine).
I suggest Frits sets up a poll. That way all entries get equal attention from one page. And each member can only cast one vote.
The downsides of a poll are: - we need quite a bit of extra time to give everyone a chance to vote. - it is not possible to post links or images fom a poll page. Let alone video.

Last minute rules change is fair how?

Overruled!
Because I, nor anyone else have the time to set up what fair systems you are on about, the competition is just unfair!
Yes.
However; I will go this far: We should have at least 10 votes on every entry, to call it remotely fair.

Thanks for that clarification
I do think the fairest system is one vote per person over a set period of time (say 1 week). If I was eligible then I'd prefer fair over fast.
