dance like a robot

We've all seen guys (let's admit it, it's always guys, never girls) dancing "the robot". But this guy seems to be dancing "the Asimo"... How meta-cultural is that? -A person mimicking a a robot designed to mimick a person!

The music isn't really my cup of tea, but the dancer is worth the hassle. 



Thinking of XBee Communication, a few questions before I jump in

What I intend to do is create a wireless link between my robot and my laptop, for remote serial programming, and remote control.

I posess a PICAXE 28X1 project board that i wish to connect with an XBee module.

From what I've seen in http://www.rev-ed.co.uk/docs/axe210.pdf an AXE210 is suggested. On page 9 however, we find that the XBee is only connected to the AXE by three pins: two inputs and one output.

Binary Clock Parts

Hey guys, I was thinking of making a binary clock. I don't want this to end up being the typical Dent work- I want this to be good looking and long lasting. It's going to be hung up on one of our walls, so I must be very precise.

Right now, I'm trying to find the right parts. I'll be spending my parent's money after all, so I want this to stay cheap (but still look good!) and I wanna get all the right parts the first time around. 

Circuit board 90% complete

So this is the first pic when it was about 50% complete, with the picaxe adapter mounted. The jumpers next to the adapter are used to select which picaxe to use when programming. 


The next image is with the pwm circuit that I had worked on, mounted on the main circuit board.

The 08m(empty socket at bottom right) controls the motor pwm control circuit.

The 14m(top center) sends signals to the motor pwm control circuit.
