Give your Processing sketch a Voice!!

Hey Processing People!

I was playing around with my Twitter stuff and found this voice library at the processing website. Man, use this library! Nothing could possibly be simpler. There is the standard init stuff and then... ONE COMMAND!

tts.speak(???);

That's it. Put anything you want between the ( )'s and it will be spoken. --I gotta say, for testing this is so much better than using a terminal.  --And the voice is not too bad either!

CNC - my summer obsession

Haven't posted anything for awhile - I've been busy building a CNC machine based on this book: Build Your Own CNC Machine (see http://buildyourcnc.com/Book.aspx for more details). The book very thoroughly describes the building techniques necessary to get up and running using the plans in the book and the suggested electronics.

Here are the basic materials I used (exact electronics specified in the book):

µBotino - 2"sq board for robotics, Arduino compatible

After playing with the Robot Builder's Shield, I've decided to make a small robot board that has the same features as the shield. I wanted it to be 2"x2" (5x5cm) so it can be fabricated cheap and to be appealing to many robot builders that still build small robots.

I present the µBotino robot controller. Features:

Basic electronics explained in cool informative way (Schematic and IR Light Update)
