PID Tutorials for Line Following

Hey there guys. This post is outdated. Visit http://letsmakerobots.com/node/39972 for the updated tutorial.

Hello LMRians,

In this writeup, I will try to create a tutorial for tuning your robot using PID to follow a line. This tutorial won't go deep down into the details of PID and its applications but will just attempt to show how a robot can be tuned with the PID parameters to follow a line.

Hexapod Circuit Diagram & Code Problem

Hi guys. I had to make an hexapod for a school project, and I've decided to try this one http://www.webx.dk/robot-crawler/robot-crawler.htm because it meets all requirement.

Hexapod controlled by arduino+devantechSD21

Hello there,

I am working on a hexapod robot and i am trynig to controll it by using aruino + SD21 servo controller.When i am  test each servo separately ,are acting like i want but when i am connecting all of them its like most servos are not moving at all.

This is my code:

#include <Wire.h>

#define ADDRESS 0xC2

int servo1  = 63;

int servo2  = 64;

int servo3  = 65;

int servo4  = 66;

int servo5  = 67;

int servo6  = 68;

int servo7  = 69;

Differencial Drive using one PWM and 4 GPIO

I want to make a differencial drive using only one PWM and 4 GPIO pins, because the motors always move in the same speed irrespective of their direction. So I have designed this H-Bridge Motor Driver, I want to make sure it works, before trying it out practically.

DESCRIPTION This is an on-the-cheap (at least cheap by Radioshack price standards) IR sensor array that could be used for a line-following robot. Although there's … Read more

Does anyone use programming code ;"C" ?

 I'm pretty new to this site and robotics, programming e.t.c.

 If there's anyone who is good with programming language; "C" , then go on this site so that  everyone's on the same track with programming and stuff. Post videos or pics of robots or circuits with explanations, because, I know from my experience that I get most of my ideas from other people.

Yahmez' Y-Babies

UPDATE: 2/1/14

I'm about to send the first run of the ATtiny 84 version of the Y-Baby to OSHPark.  It is a lot larger than Yahmez' original design.  Coming in at 26mm in diameter.  This was necessary given it uses the LIR2032 and a SMD coin-cell holder.
