ComMotion Shield in action!

Some time ago I built my Scamper robot to test / demonstrate DAGU's new Omni wheels with rubber rollers. Later I remade Scamper into a kit and combined the two Mini Drivers into a single PCB called ComMotion.

So far it's used to test modified Eddie firmware.

Heated Bed Warning Light

Hello everyone, I thought I'd share a circuit I am using on a little 3D printer upgrade project.

I have a heated bed PCB for my Printrbot that I am currently adding to the underside my aluminum bed. I needed clips to hold the pcb in place and provide a housing for wire strain relief. I designed some and printed them out. I wanted to add LED warning lights to the clips so they would glow when the bed was hot. I really wanted the lights to stay lit after the bed was off and slowly dim to nothing over about an hours time like the warning light on my stove does.

Simplified occupancy grid mapping

I have a setup, where a distance sensor, such as sonar or IR, rotates about 180 degrees and takes a distance measurement every few degrees. What I would like to do is to create a occupancy grid out of these measurements on an Arduino or, more specifically, I would like to compare two different algorithms, which create the grids.
One of these algorithms would be made by myself, but in order to make a solid comparison, I would like the other algorithm to be the one which is mentioned in occupancy grid materials and research papers, which utilizes a binary Bayes filter.
