Kinect and wheeled versions under development

We were pointed out that tracked version might have problems on thick carpet or wet tiles. That is why we want to try the wheeled version and compare the performance on different surfaces. Any thoughts whether it will drive better then tracked version? Some pros/cons of wheels vs. tracks?

Kinect and an Arduino UNO

Is there any way I can get a kinect (xbox 360) sensor to act as my robots "eyes" with the arduino UNO. For example, where I move my hands, the arm follows. Thanks ;)

Kinect is future?

Control your computer with gestures. 

Right now the technology for consumer PC's is already advanced and touchscreens, touchpads are sensitive for gestures.

But what's even without physical contact? The Microsoft Kinect is a good way to try these different approaches.

TITAN robot

This project is HUGE. Lets start form the begining, I am a university student and for my final project I wanted to do a big robot, that is untill I found out that the university picks a group of projects and you choose one, so I've decided to make it anyway.
