OpenCV problem

Hi, I download and install OpenCV 3.1, but when I want to start a code it wrote me back this

WiiCamera's back in stock (Sorta)

Hey guys,

As many of you know, I stocked the WiiCamera board for many years, and for all of those years it has been a nightmare to keep these guys in stock due to the fact that I had to constantly troll ebay for broken Wiimotes to harvest. I occured to me that it would be easier for a individual person to find one broken wiimote to buy rather than me trying to find 300 at a time. Because of this fact, I am now proud to introduce the WiiCam DIY kit.

Microscope Camera Driver

I recently purchased a microscope to help with soldering. As a gift I was given this camera for the microscope but no software. Does anyone know where I can find drivers for this camera?

It does 50 frames per second and they are "giving it all away" so to speak.  Software, schematics, board layout.... worth a look.

Q[Resolved]:Raspberry PI,Opencv can not open camera

opencv2.4.6 BUG V4L doesn't work,just use version  2.4.6.1

when i run the samples:
 //capture = cvCreateCameraCapture(CV_CAP_ANY);//cvCaptureFromCAM(0);//-1//CV_CAP_ANY
 none of them work.
 ERROR: capture is NULL.

thus,i was in trouble.i've bought a new camera(Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0ac8:301b Z-Star Microelectronics Corp. ZC0301 Webcam),which was even worse,not support v4l.maybe i should buy one more on the support list.

Can I replace this camera's usb cable?

I have an eyetoy camera that works very well with my raspberry pi. However the USB cable is long as hell and there are five cables coming out of the camera into the USB. My shorter cable that I want to use is the standard 4-wire one. I suspect that there might be some sort of converter contained in the camera's cable, and that replacing it would be impossible. Here's the camera, and notice the lump at the end of the cable. What do you guys think?

Cheap CCD or CMOS camera with external sync.

Hi.

I am doing and experiement where I need 2 camera but the capability of handling an external Sunc signam.
Most of the units I have seen are either too large or too expensive. A single board unit would be perfect.

Starting Point For Robotic Eyes

Hi there.

I would like to build a robot head with two eyes that move. I would like to put snake-cam's in each eye, and have the robot able to look around (ie: Following someone's face); and also to use the platform to build from there (ie: 3D object distance estimating, etc.)

I do realise that the above is a huge project, but I need to start somewhere :) To begin, I would like to build one eye that can move around and track a face.

Can anyone recommend software to control the above functions, with in mind that I am only beginning robotics.

Wireless surveilance system..

Hi, all, this is a bit of a random night post, but, i need your help...i need a cheap way to make a surveilance system.. 

I have a CCTV camera module that looks like that, and no, it's not wireless, doesn't have a receiver. It only has Audio/Video cables and a power cable. Is there a cheap way to make this work using bluetooth? I only need to spy from 5 meters away. Btw, i want to be able to receive the video from my laptop. 

Transmitting 2 HD-SDI video streams over wireless

Hello all, I've got a problem I've been scratching my head on for a couple days and figured I see if anyone here can help. 

Let me set the scene. 

You have two high definition camera's onboard a robot that have HD-SDI (or HDMI) outputs. 

You need to transmit these camera feeds to a laptop wirelessly to view. 

You have a small "mini-PC" computer on the robot (similar to one of these http://www.stealth.com/littlepc.htm).

I am intrested in making a car that can be controlled anywhere through wifi. I do no know where to start and how to do it. Does anyone know what to use (arduino? arduino with ethernet shield? arduino with wifi shield?) or any good step by step instrunctions on this?

Robot camera?

I need a camera like a CMUcam or a AVRcam for my robot. I was thinking about getting a CMUcam or AVRcam, but there hasn't been much activity lately by the makers of these cameras, so I'm a little hesitant. I want to be able to do onboard color tracking, blob detection, etc.. And I have an Arduino Mega and Duemilinove to use on my robot. Any help from the LMR society goes a long way, and I appreciate it. Thanks!

Samsung announces new depth and image camera sensor in a single unit

At ISSCC 2012 Samsung announced a new sensor that is capable to measure depth besides taking RGB images. The depth data is 480x360 with 1% acuracy out to 5m. The RGB data is 1920x720 and the sensor operates at 20MHz. For more details, reat this link:

I am looking for a webcam (or low-cost camera) with good lens (low-distortion) and wide filed of view (at least 75 degrees). A resolution of 640 x 480 is enough, although a bit higher would be better. Any suggestion?

Wii Camera BreakOuts

I just finished and sent off some break out boards to support a wiicamera. These boards use the camera after it has been removed from the wiimote and communicate via i2c NOT the standard bluetooth connection of the wiimote. Included on the board is the necessary reset circuit and 25mhz crystal. There are a total of (4) .9" mounting holes to match 2-56 hardware. 2 of these holes match the hole pattern of the servo horn of the "LMR standard" blue servo.
