The things it missed are among other things, a real third wheel (now it was just a plastic cap that dragged over the floor), on/off buttons (every time I want to put it on I have to connect the batteries, remote controlling (I&#039;d really like to know if I can make it remote control with a PCB from an old RC car I had lying around). First I started to design my new robot in a CAD program. I then cutted the pieces I needed from wood.&lt;/p&gt;

 <title>IR Versus Ultrasonic rangefinder on grass.</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Hi, I&#039;m pretty much new to robotic, even though I&#039;ve worked with kit like fischertechnik and Lego NXT.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I know the base of it, and i&#039;m good with electronics.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;but here it is i want to build plane that coud fly by itself using rangefinder (Ir or ultrasonic) to keep a distance from the ground, but i&#039;ve read that IR sensor aren&#039;t good outside and that ultrasonic doesn&#039;t work good on absorbant material (Grass). &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; Since it&#039;s a plane I also have to consider weight in my choice. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Wich sensor would be the best for this task ?&lt;/p&gt;</description>

 <title>How to connect SRF05 to Picaxe 28 pin Projectboard</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;If you are a newbee, you may only have learned that the Picaxe 28 pin Project Board has some inputs and outputs.. And you may have purchesed an SRF05 (that Picaxe refers to as SRF005), and you are trying to connect the darn thing.. without resoult?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Reason is likely to be that you are connecting the output from the  Picaxe to the SRF05 through the darlington on the board. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The SRF05 needs (like many other things) a Pulse-signal, not just a &amp;quot;power on / off&amp;quot;.
