WiiCamera's back in stock (Sorta)

Hey guys,

As many of you know, I stocked the WiiCamera board for many years, and for all of those years it has been a nightmare to keep these guys in stock due to the fact that I had to constantly troll ebay for broken Wiimotes to harvest. I occured to me that it would be easier for a individual person to find one broken wiimote to buy rather than me trying to find 300 at a time. Because of this fact, I am now proud to introduce the WiiCam DIY kit.

WiiCams back in Stock

Finally!!!

After the slowest of slow boats from China, we have gotten the needed supply of boards.

WiiCams are back in stock!

(So is everything else people have been waiting for)

Have Wii, will disassemble

Hello all,

Little about me...  question comes later.

I am new to LMR.  I've not built anything yet besides little toy kits this Christmas for my 5 year old son.  I have my Start Here bot kit ordered and being delivered next week from Solarbots.  Other than that I a Bachelor degree in software engineering.  I am collecting my son's broken electronic toys.  I've got the base to a really cool RC car that runs and will be a really great base.  Also I have something of higher dollar amount that died I would like to inquire about.

Wii Camera BreakOuts

I just finished and sent off some break out boards to support a wiicamera. These boards use the camera after it has been removed from the wiimote and communicate via i2c NOT the standard bluetooth connection of the wiimote. Included on the board is the necessary reset circuit and 25mhz crystal. There are a total of (4) .9" mounting holes to match 2-56 hardware. 2 of these holes match the hole pattern of the servo horn of the "LMR standard" blue servo. Pull-up resistors are also on board for the i2c lines. The board requires and has a 5-pin header for:

Robotic Arm Control

I have built a robotic arm. You can see it in the robot section. It is called IPTUPED.

Now that it is built i can only prgram it to pick up something that is in the same time. I need a new control method.

Due to the fact that i am pretty new to this i need some ideas. Basically i am asking you guys if you can help me find a good method. I have seen wii and arduino, nd rc. I need a good tutorial online somewhere that can help me control it. So far i have only been able to find a method that can control 2 servos. I am using 4 and maybe 5 in the future. Thanks for any help.

Quadcopter begins

Well i finally went through with it and started on a quadcopter. I will probably just stick to doing RC with it but who knows, maybe one day i will make a quadcopter UAV.

NonStream Wii_Nunchuk Experiment

With all the recent talk with regards to the Wii_Nunchuk ..... and somewhere in a post someone dared me to attach a Wii-Nunchuk to Depron, i thought that at least i should give it a whirl to see how it felt.

Findings :-

I know that its still in "Dry-Hanger" at the moment but from my feelings the Nunchuck would only be of any use for the Ailerons.

Arduino and Stand Alone Wii IR Sensor

Hey everybody, I am looking for help with this project: http://letsmakerobots.com/node/7752

I need to make a device for a school project that detects IR position for a PC mouse but that incoporates a
microcontroller, so this project seems like a good start.

I have already built the voltage regulating circuit, removed the IR sensor and attached it to the circuit. All
voltages seem to be at desired values.
