This is my blog where I have been writing about my robot so far. The robot's name is Salvius and it is a humanoid robot. I have alot more plans for it in the future but for now I am still building alot of the major parts of it. At the moment I am building a wheeled base for the robot but once I get everyting working I am going to start designing legs. I have uploaded photos of my progress for nearly every step of the way and I will be uploading new source code soon.

Good Robot Controller?

Ok I am planning on building a "small" humanoid robot that can has computer vision and can do many tasks. I am planning on using a small onboard computer to do all the processing so that it can be autonomous and reduce the need to have another computer on for it to work. Anyway I am looking for a small, not expensive, and easy to use, some what powerfull small computer or single board computer that has usb ports,can run off a small battery and can run lunix. I am thankful for all suggestions.

This is a rather cool looking robot that is constructed more like a human with bones, muscles and tendons. We have seen some similar designs on LMR before, perhaps earlier attempts by the same team?
