Gears! Complete gear set for TB-2

Energy reduction?

UPDATE:

New code works well, but the motor moves slowly.

UPDATE 2:

New power source plug in, code working = Nothing

Incredible wooden mechanical machines video

Have a look at the engineering that has gone into some of these machines. I especially like the gearbox mechanism on the 2nd video to change from raising to extending the arm.

ubuntu & atmega

So my pickit2 kept failing, even with only pic in circiut. FinallyI got fed up of pics and windows. I deleted windows, moved to ubuntu, took out mu usbasp and atmega88. Tried to get pickit analyser (like computer oscilloscope) working on linux but it seems impossible, so I have to use windows computer for that. I also found out that linux + pic programming = big no no.

Using Arduino and L298N to control Tamiya Twin Motor Gearbox

I've connected the L298N to one of the motors of the Tamiya Twin Gearbox as per the circuit diagram in the L298N data sheet. But when I set pin 10 and pin 12 to go forward or reverse, nothing happens. The voltage at pin 13 and pin 14 seems to be equal to each other regardless of what I set for pin 10 and pin 12 (with the enable pin on high). This is the Arduino code I have. The diodes I am using are IN4007. I've also tried it with the other H-Bridge and I get the same result.

Building plans for the tamiya tiwn motor gearbox

I built my gearbox in the wrong configuration, it was 3 months ago and I lost it... Does anyone have a JPEG a PDF or anything else of the plan for that gearbox ?

Tamiya part number.

This is a very nice little package. You have to assemble yourself, and there are 3 ways. You want to assemble in "C"-mode, ratio 203:1 The A & B setups, 58:1 … Read more
