Another good source of reading (pre-LMR) I found was email groups.
Two of them I find most helpful (and informative!)
Yahoo Picaxe Group is not the busiest of them, but a very informative place to hang out. I haven't really entered in any conversations, but enjoy reading a daily digest.
Seattle Robotics Society is another great place to get information. Their daily digest emails are usually chock-full of new ideas, questions, and thoughts.
