Yellow Drum Machine

Hi all. I have been away for some time (health reasons), but I am finally back and starting on my third robot. You can see my first robot here and here, I never made a page for my second robot, as it was just a remake of the start here robot (maybe it will make a special appearance).

Hi everybody :)

I was invited to exhibit on the annual RoboDays, in Odense, Denmark this year

It was quite cool, because I got to meet so many of the youtube-famous robots (and their builders) out there. Some shown in the video, but of course I did not have time to go around and film a lot, having my own stand (and 500 kids wanting to touch stuff and drive cars into each other)..

Okay I am trying to hook up the gear pager motor to test it so I write the code as below:

high portc 3

wait 1

low portc 3

wait 1

goto main

I used the lead to test it and it seem to work the lead turn on and off every second but when I try with the gear pager motor its does not have enough power to move the motor. well the motor move but very slow so its not able to make a sound when it hit something.

 

Amazed over the popularity the Yellow Drum Machine has recieved, but with my mother-in-law on visit, and a baby on my other arm, it is hard to do a follow up quickly :)

So this is a first-and only shoot, showing the sing-along-possibilities of YDM. I *could* have sung something more inspiring, and I could have taken another shot, to wait for a more inspiring rythm etc - but this is what I can manage right now (my baby girl is sleeping on my shoulder, even writing this is hard :)
