What does it do?

transmits video, uses multiple types of sensors for navigation

Alrighty, so this is the slapped together voodoobot(not running just yet). I'm working on a possible conversion to a tracked version(using vex track kit) for ease of movement vs wheeled motion(3 point turns are a pain) but will do a test with the wheels.

What does it do?

Wander around at random, avoid running into things

Harry is my current project, and he's a work-in-progress. My first goal was to simply build a nice differential-drive mobile base for my Basic Stamp so that it could drive around on my carpeted floors. Now that that's done, I have to figure out something for him to do :) I may try to use this to attack the Chair Challenge.

What does it do?

Try to get a certain distance from an object

Herpe is a curious-yet-skittish-puppy-bot. What he's supposed to do is seek you out and drive up to you, but if he gets too close, he backs away in fear. In reality, his motor is too fast and his CPU (a Parallax Basic Stamp 2) is too slow, so he doesn't react fast enough to realize he's getting close to you until he's bumped into you.
