Unknown Charge Rate of eBay LiPo Battery

I don't suppose anyone could help me discern the charge rate for this eBay Bluetooth battery?

It's marked "AHB56174 OPA"

It's 3.7v, 365mAh.  I can't seem to find even a hint of a datasheet.

At this point, I'll accept wild guesses.  I'll just make sure it sits outside while charging :)

Royal AP8000 8000mAh USB battery for $12 !!!

I just visited one of Costco's Clearance Outlet stores nearby, and found this LiPo battery pack for $12!  Just because it was out of it's packaging!

5v 2.1A out, wich charge level meter on front panel.  Weighs about 12oz...

Had to buy two of them  IMMEDIATELY before someone came to their senses!

It retails at Costco for $40, which is still a great price for LiPo  8000mAh here in Canada.

LiPo batteries and chargers question

Hello

I'm going to make an hexapod robot and I need a LiPo battery. The 20 servos (SG-5010), when moving, needs 12 A.

I've already bought some servos in the past from Hobby king, and now I was wondering if you can suggest me a LiPo which works with my configuration: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_listCategoriesAndProducts.asp?idCategory=86&v=&sortlist=P

I want to buy from Europe to avoid custom duties. Also I'll need a charger. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__216__408__-Battery_Chargers.html

Dual Cell Lipo Charging IC

Hey guys,

Can anyone suggest an IC that could be used to charge dual cell Lipo batteries (7.4V) with cell balancing? Ideally the IC would be powerful enough that it could charge even if the system is under a light load. I am looking for something similar to
the MAX 1555 IC (http://www.sparkfun.com/products/674) but for multiple cells. My google search has been fruitless - I must be using the wrong keywords. Thanks for any help!

I am confused about how to use LiPo batteries

Hi all,

I am currently working on a new robot and I will soon have to choose a way to feed it with power.

I've been reading about LiPo batteries, but I am still confused about how to integrate this kind of power supply in a robot. Here are a few questions I have in mind :

How to safely connect more lipos

Hi guys,

I have 2 LiPo's and I want to spit out the united force of them into my circuit. Not sure if that is paralel or serial, and nor do I mind much, I want the verion that gives higher volts. But of course I am afraid of messing with LiPo's , so here you have my life in your hands. Will the below do?

Thanks.

Holder & charger for mobile LiPo batteries (Open letter to Jack / DAGU)

Since I had good luck last time (http://letsmakerobots.com/node/7046) - I will try again.

This time, it is batteries.

As I was just talking with Gareth about, it is a shame that all the used mobile phones get thrown away, with nice LiPo batteries, even chargers.

And you can get really cheap LiPo's if you get some that should be sold as spare batteries to common cel phone types, or outdated models.

What I would like, would be a HOLDER and second a CHARGER. This would open a world for us!

SF order on it's way[shipped!]

Since it's been a while since anyone has posted on this forum, just thought I'd post something.

Finally put my order in thats been in the cart on that fateful freeday. added a couple extra things to it as well since I have a mini project going.

Opted to get the polulu trex motor driver as well since my hbridge attempt has yet to work(though I haven't tried to trouble shoot it for a while) .

Got a couple of 20x2's to see what they are like and since they had some sweet hw access. Grabbed a couple of atmel 2313's since they have built in uarts.
