What does it do?

Tries to write 'LMR'

While coding new interactivity into this robot, and trying to achieve more control on the way it moves, I though it would be cool to see what happens if I mount one little servo to hold a pen, and tell him to write 'LMR'.

The idea came from this challenge... and I thought I could give it a shot.

What does it do?

Navigates obstacles using a Sharp IR

Well hello everyone!

This is my first robot. I decided to build it after seeing the amazing YDM on Make website :) Really this is just my first robot to get a handle on electronics and programming. It wont do anything except move around and avoid stuff.

drives around blind untill I save up some dough for sensors :P

Here is my attempt at an arduino tankbot this is going to take me a while to complete because I am a little tight on money for now but I am slowly savin up, first for the motors/gearboxes, then for some sensors.

I also have to get better at codeing too :P

First Robot, Rover.... and stuff my uncle sent me

Navigate around via Ultrasound

I just bought a Ping sensor in radioshack for my arduino thats coming and when i got home i got a box from my uncle... He used to work for northwest airlines fixing computers and engines and has taught me alot so he sent me some of his aircraft electronics.. It included some metal transistors of all types, glass diodes, high precision resistors from vishay with tolerance from .001% and disk caps, photocells, mylar caps (i think), and caps i have never seen before. They say 30uf and -10v... never seen negative caps before...

The way we walk...

What does it do?

Walks straight ahead

This is an attempt to build a walking biped with only 4 servos, since that's what I have left right now. Since I don't have any video recording equipment right now, I'll try to describe how it walks. It start by tilting left to put all the wight on the left foot and lift the right foot. This is done by turning the left foot servo to the left, while turning the right foot to the right to support the robot as far as possible in the tilt, like this:

Little Drum Machine

What does it do?

Drive around and find interesting things to drum on

Here's my latest project. I liked Frits' Yellow Drum Machine so much that I decided I wanted to build one of my own. I'm working on the physical construction first -- once I have somewhere to mount the batteries and logic board, I'll glue on some drumsticks and start working on the drumming code. When my SRF05 arrives in the mail, I'll add that and start working on navigation. The last step will be adding the sampling board to record and play back sounds. Well, that's the plan, anyway :)
