There are a few models of this but the SM125-IC is an RFID Interigator with read/write capabilities and I2C connection capabilities. I have been looking for a chip to base my RFID interigator after for a while and this one in my humble opinion takes the cake.

What does it do?

Roll around remotely & terrify co-workers

Unfortunately, this is the amount of documentation I have left of this project. It was a robot constructed from a thrown away icebox cooler. It ran windows 98 on a donated 75 mhz pentium. Since windows 98 was still dos at heart you could still use outb & inb functions. Now, I use Linux exclusively. It had wireless, so one day I left it at work and tele-operated it from my home. I used net-meeting to see where it was and a mic to scare co-workers into submission. bwah ha ha ha.

How can I add Wifi to my robot?

I'm new to robotics but have dabbled in Microcontrollers the last few years and develop software for a living. One thing I've been dreaming of doing for awhile is builting a blimp robot that is controlled over wifi, but I can't seem to find information on is how to connect microcontrollers to some sort of wifi interface. I'm hoping there's some sort of module somewhere that I can interface with.
