Robotic arm mounted on an autonomous line follower

hello everyone.

I am working on a robotic arm mounted on an autonomous robot. I am done with the line following part. and It tracks the line pretty well. controlled 2 DC geared motors via fastPWM from atmega16 using motor driver l298, used LDRs and LM324 comparators for the line following. all the programming is done in avr studio 4 and used ponyprog to burn the code in atmega 16.

A bit of advice on choosing the right battery

Hello

I've been running around past few days trying to figure out a suitable power source for my yet to build robot. It will be powered by two 12V gearmotors (about 1amp stall), on a simple diffrential drive. I am looking for a balance between power consumption and efficiency. My rough estimate is that the robot will weigh under 1kg (2.2lbs) after construction.

This 143:1 gear motor is much like the GM3 gear motor but runs at nearly twice the speed. Great for robots needing speed over torque! Another … Read more
