Hello I was wondering how good a of a platform the Raspberry pi is for robots. Is their anything special I have to download to the pi in order for it to communicate to the robot? Or does it have those features right out of the box.
At 64 years of age I am finally building my own robot! The first robot I saw was Mr Robotham at the Schoolboys Own Exhibition in 1955! (Google images will find it for you.)
I am using a Sharp IR Analog Sensor (2 different ones, in fact) and the readings I'm getting on both are not 'correct'. I'm using a PICAXE 28 & a Sharp GP2D120XJ00F or GP2Y0A21YK.
