What does it do?

Lifts Objects

This is for the Olympics challenge. It can lift heavy things(for its size and its own weight). It lifts thingsand holds them up for 3 seconds. And then, after it puts the object to the ground again, It says "Fantastic !" after it succeds.

Well, actually, even I was surprised when it lift that rock !

What does it do?

Attack and participate in epee

This is for The Olympic Competitions ! This is for participating in fencing. Thanks Frits for making great challenges ! I'll post a video. This is a robot which attacks with its "blade" when it sees a foe !

I really wanted to enter the Olympics Competition because I found it interesting. Now, RUN Away before my robot attacks xD

What does it do?

Plays xylophone

Very simple robot plays xylophone using one LEGO® Mindstorms NXT servo motor to move forwards and the other one to lower and lift the bat. As every NXT robot has to hold an intelligent brick, XP2M is designed to drag it as a trail on 4 cog wheels that can’t turn left or right. Every time the robot moves from one metal plate of xylo to another it plays a tone.

What does it do?

Avoids obstacles

This quite simple robot made with LEGO® Mindstorms NXT set is programmed in NXT-G (LEGO's visual programming language) to Avoid Obstacles using the Ultrasonic Sensor. The idea was to make a labyrinth with white, black and blue coloured walls. Coloured walls help our robot to find its way out of the labyrinth saying it to which side it should turn.

What does it do?

Drive with an autonomous systems using ultrasonic sensors and GPS

This project tries to manage any RC Car which you can purchase in your city using a NXT brick and a Lattebox NXTe. NXTe allowed me to control RC Servos and DC Motors easily. Currently I can go forward and backward. leJOS project has worked so hard to improve garbaje collector, to manage with NXT's CPU complex Java Programs.

NXT Line Follower

What does it do?

Smoothly follows a black line

The robot measures line position with the 4 line sensors and feeds this to a PD-regulator which in turn produces the two motor outputs. This setup gives a smooth line following.

The cost of the robot is roughly the cost of a set of MINDSTORMS NXT + 3 additional NXT light sensors and the rechargeable battery.

The time to build includes several mutations of the basic design - time flies when you play with LEGO ;-). Of course some time was spent finding some usable values for the P and D constants for the PD-regulation.

I used the Bricxcc IDE for developing the controller program.
