The Features Of The Servo Controller

The kit comes with a prototype board, servo controller chip, jack, wire and all the other parts you need. The board is voltage regulated so it can be connected to 4.5 volt up to 9 volts. The "VEX" type of motor uses 9 volts. The servo connectors are make from dip sockets since both male and female are needed.

What does it do?

This is my first experiment working with the XBee modules, and I thought it would be cool to control Farrusco.

So, first I used 2 potenciometers and assign one to each motor.. and then I used a nunchuck controller.
Both require a learning curve and only after a while you start to feel the touch :]

Are RC toys a good source for servos/motors?

I was wondering whether RC toys are a good source for components. I came across a RC plane with two motors and two servos that only costs €25. This seems like a very good deal to me, or would this be a bad idea?

What are your experiences with demolishing toys for the greater good, or do you have an alternative cheap source of components?

Here is a quick walk-through on how to get your hands on a really cheap alternative to the GM10s. The motors you get here are not even nearly as cool as the GM10s, but you don't feel bad when you fry them.
