Problem with hexapod

Hi, I'm new here and I'm not so used to forums so if I'll make mistakes posting, writing etc please forgive me and help me to find the way! :)

I also have to say that I'm not English so forgive me for my English or if I can't get something!

So... Let's talk about my problem..

This is not the first robot I have built. I built it one weekend when I was unable to use my computer (so I was bored), and just using parts I had at my … Read more

How do I control 18 digital servos with a 28x1?

How do I control 18 digital servos with a Picaxe 28x1?

I have the microcontroller board with the 28x1 mounted and I've tried building the "start here" robo.

I now would like to know how to be able to control 18 digital servos since I am building a Hexapod :)

All I really need to know is what extensionboard I need.

Thanks in advance :) Please let me know if you need more info.

Hexapod

Hye, Sorry to bother you, I have some questions about a hexapod. I want to make the same like this http://webx.dk/robot-crawler/robot-crawler.htm  for my college project, if you have time to have a look on it, I want to know the configuration of the pcb board, an electrical schematics electric parts needed, what cpu usses, what kind of servos (can I use weaker servos?) . If you can help me, I would be very pleased, if can't..no problem. Have a good day.
I have built a couple of rudimentary 2-wheeled rovers before, nothing special, but I really fancied trying a hexapod.  So here it is/will be.  It will be an … Read more

Robot with a personality

This little guy will track your face, and if you hold still long enough, it takes a picture and uploads the image to its own website!

I just love how smoothly it moves, almost looks like it has its own personality...

Its own site is here. Doesn't look like it's currently working, but still has info on the bot.
