Well, now that I have time for this robot I've discovered that the SSC32 supports at maximum 9 volts and my PSU is 12 volts. The website for robotshop says 6v to 12 volts but the documentation says 7.2v. Help me please

What's wrong?. Arduino energy from USB, Shield energy from 7.2v and code that works on other robot. Tested with another motor just in case and zero, nothing, blank, null, etc.
I would love to be able to have continuous readouts from my electricity meter in my home. Such a tedious job is time consuming and tedious. So I need a robot to do that for me.
