Remote Weather Station

This is a work in progress weather station with wireless transmitting, it is made using cheap components, so here is a list of components all purchased off of ebay ecept for my trusty genuine arduino dumelnove, which will be replaced with a $4 uno clone off ebay in the final project. Still need to build enclosures for both the indoor and outdoor units. It is based on this instructable.

CONGRADULATIONS Junkster!

Junkster mentioned in the shoutbox he has been admitted here,

and I just wanted to say Fantastic Work Junkster and I think a little Bragging is in order.

Tha $0.99 shipped list

This is a list of cheap, $0.99 shipped parts when you find something share it! If its just a screaming good deal under $5.00 please post as well, the idea is build your inventory $5.00 a week or a pop at least.

For unni

Think you will want something like this for code on 28x1 from our brief shoutbox conversation, you will have to pick the value from your sensor, I used 5 as example. This is using adc pin 1, and pin B.1 to go high and turn  on your relay. Have no idea if this works or what you have for sensor, also you might need to turn relay on with a transitor depending on current draw. Please remember picaxe does not like over 5 volts.

Simple servo bracket

Birdmun an Hi jinx got me looking into open scad, he is code a bracket for a servo you can adjust just by playing with a few numbers, the software is free and there's some tutoreals on line and youtube, you can export STL's as well. I did not think I would like it but after playing with it, my mind is more open, for simple shapes it is very fast.

Super Cooler Code

Hi guys as some of you know I've been working on code for a project I have in mind, it not a new idea, lots of folks are doing it http://freeaire.com/ , I just want to put my take on it, and perhaps save some store owners some money and make a little myself.

I live in Maine USA, winters are pretty cold here, lots of small stores have walk in coolers for keeping beer and soda code, so why not when its suitable use that cold air to cool the walk ins, a typical 8' by 20' walking cooler costs $250 or more a month in electricity to operate.

Some design stuff

More code

What I am trying to do with this code is measure air temp and humidity inside a cooler and outside the building, if the cooler calls for cooling say its over 35F, and the outside air is less than 30F and humidity outside is under 65% I want to open and ehaust damper with an end switch, the end switch will close when damper opens, then turn on a fan that will blow that cold air into cooler, also would like to show values on an lcd for a bit of wow factor.

adding a second dht22

I am using a dfrobot lcd, http://tinyurl.com/kfgbkf9 , and a dht22 temp humidity sensor, http://www.adafruit.com/products/385 , I want to add a second sensor, inside, outside or upstairs, downstairs kinda thing, could I get some clues, I think I just don't get how to name the second sensor, would like to add it after the delay in the loop. Google was not a ton of help?

trouble with a button

Hi guys, as some of you know I am trying to learn some arduino, exspand my stuffs so to speak, what I want to do is push a button and do a RGB led routine, push button again and turn it of, hoff's bling thing medalion got me thinking on this. I'm using Ladvian's excellent Attiny board an 85 breakout board. The idea for me is if I can figure it out I can turn most anything on or off with it, but also run a routine, or program. here's what I got so far bdk6 and JerZ hinted at the problem, but its beyond me.

LMR product

bdk6, 6677 and I were in the shoutbox and were talking about a product or something to help fund lmr, we all had privetly been thinking that with all the smart people here at lmr we could create a product or two that we could sell here in the shop or even licsense to some one like sparkfun, seed, adafruit or other.
