Let's Make Robots!

Curiosity

I'm planning on creating a simple robot like "Gwunderer" By. NilsB I have already created the mechanism. When you go in front of it, the servo goes to 180 (up) and when you move farther than 50cm it goes back to 90 (center). This uses an Arduino. I used an Arduino Mega 1280.

UPDATE (6.9.12):

I uploaded a plan and photo of what it looks like.
It seems as though I cannot find my camera...

BUT here is the plan:

How do you use a L293D Motor Controller with an Arduino MEGA?

I have recently received my order from ebay. A L293D Motor Controller for my first robot. I read the datasheet and other guides but i can't figure out how to use it, please help! I didnt order 2 so i only have 1, if it fries, i cant get another one or i have to make one. :(

How do you connect a SRF005 to an Arduino MEGA 1280

I need help on connecting a srf005 (the blue one) to an Arduino MEGA 1280

You can use this image as a guide.

I want the connection for the srf005 using only three pins. :) (The one where you connect the mode pin to ground)

Thanks,
