Interfacing from PC to Arduino via PWM radio

Greetings fellow LMRians,

I am in the planning stage of building a quadcopter, which will be my first ever flying robot. So excited!!!! I have a question for you all: how would I interface some sort of PC control to the machine?

Arduino Measuring Time in Milliseconds

Greetings fellow robot builders,

I have used my Arduino so far with much succes but I cannot, for the life of me, find out how to measure the time from one point of the program to another in milliseconds. I have downloaded the Arduino "Time" library and it seems that that can only measure in whole seconds and as many of you know, a second is a very very long time in a program. By the way, I do not want the robot to pause in this time. (I know about the "delay" function)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Riddellikins

Line Following Sensors

Hello everyone,

I am making a line following robot for a competition in Australia called "Robocup Junior". It involves following a line, also, taking shortucts indicated by a green square. At the suggestion of one of the friendly LMRians I invested in an IR Sensor board that can follow the line perfectly. The only problem I have been having is that white and green have the same readings (must be a problem with infra-RED and GREEN being different, or something:)

So I am creating this thread to see if anyone has had any experience with any light or colour (color) sensors.

PrintrBot

Hey LMR,

Has anyone here got, or has heard about, the PrintrBots. I am thinking of buying one and I am just wondering about people's experiences with the company and the actual printer.

Some things I would really like to know are:

Is it worth the price? Is the liney effect that you get on prints really bad or can that be improved with tuning and experience? Can you make threads for screws accurately or is that a longshot?

Thanks Guys (and girls)
