Hello, here I am again, asking for some help. I am currently using fritsl's srf05 code:

HVW

I gotta recommend this online shop. For anyone in Canada (and the US) this is a great online store. They were recently-ish aquired by solarbotics, but still have a seperate website. They have fast shipping (2 days!) and great customer service (I received a picaxe chip with the bad firmware, they shipped me a replacement one free of charge)

 Anyways, I highly recommend them

The Store, Part 2

Mr.M's picture

Well, hello again everyone. Thought I would do a little update on the store. It has an official name now, the website is set up , and website design is almost complete. I also have a few robot designs ready to sell, including the start here robot.

Of course, I would love to have more robot designs to sell. If you would like yours to be one of them, please contact me!

The Store

Mr.M's picture

Alright, well I have already made a somewhat succesful post about my online robotics store that I am starting up, but I have decided to also make a blog/some blog entries on the subject.

Heres the deal: I am looking for people that would like to have their robot design sold on the site. Anyone who decides they want it on the site would get their name on the purchase page and a ink to their site/lmr profile/other online thing etc.

So anyone that would like to have their robot design in the store please comment on this blog post.

Looking for contributers

Mr.M's picture

Hello all. I think that this is a fantastic site, but is missing one thing. And I would like to mkae up for it with a new site I am making. It's going to be a site selling robotics kits, and I am looking for people who would like to controbute their robots and robot designs. I would like to stress though, that the main focus isn't profit, but providing easy to obtain kits to begginers and advanced builders alike to use, instead of having to search multiple sites for components, etc.

servo servo PICAXE

Mr.M's picture

Alright all, very simple question:

I have a picaxe 28x1 board

It will have 7 servos

Those servo's will have to move arms and body parts

I am looking at these:

question 1:

Is continous okay?

question 2:

are they good?

How Many.

Hello all, I just have a quick question: how many servos can a picaxe handle. For the robot im making, it needs to handle two motors, seven servos, an lcd, a srf05 sensor, two infra red rangefinding sensors and a sound output device. Can it handle all that?

The best "cliff" detector

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has any personal preferance towards sensors for cliff detection. I am starting a new robot that needs this. Any suggestions?
