Dear: LMR

Hello guys this is me Noah again. You should know I have had plenty of expereince with HTML5 and CSS for many years now and I have finally put those skills together to make a website. Trinity robot chassis upgrade!!!

Dear: LMR

Just to let you know I have recently built a new chassis for my trinity firefighting robot. The purpose of me building a new chassis was that the old chassis was too diffucult to use and debug. FIrst of all it was a self ballancer robot which made it diffucult to control. Second of all it was so tiny it was diffucult to debug the wiring. Any opinions on the new chassis? Thank you.

PS: I used the same electronics from the old robot to the new robot including motors. Enjoy!!!

360 degree proximity sensing?

Dear: LMR

Hello guys this is me Noah again and I was wondering how you would make a mount that can hold a bunch of proximity sensors most likely going to be ping sensors in a circle so that I can detect obstacles 360 degrees. Unfortunately I couldn't find any such mount or sensor that was cheap online so I am assuming you guys would know more than I would. There has to be a way to line up a bunch of proximity sensors in 360 degrees. Can I have some help? Thank you guys so much!!!

Mosfet motor driver?

Dear: LMR

Just to let you know I want to use a two mosfets to control two 9 volt motors. I managed to find this circuit online for controlling a motor with a single mosfet and they say it can move the motor both directions. I looked at the circuit from my knowledge it can only move one direction. InA controls both directions of the motor. Can I please have some help? Thank you.

Is this schematic ready for layout?

Dear: LMR

Just to let you know I am hoping to make a pcb for my robot in hopes I am not going to need a new chassis. Is this schematic correct because I am not so sure about the USB, the regulators, and the crystall oscilator. Thank you.

Update 1/18/2016 There will probably be a new robot chassis. I think I was going about this the wrong way. The two wheel self balancing, the robot gripper that puts … Read more

How to control a two motors and encoders in a single function?

Dear: LMR

Just to let you know I am trying to control all my robots motors and encoders in a single function. It is not going so well obviously since I am starting a forum. This code is supposed to work that function void move has parameters that are leftMotorSpeed, rightMotorSpeed, leftMotorDistance, and rightMotorDistance. Left and Right motor speed control the motor's speed. The other parameters represent the number of ticks the motors are supposed to tick. When they reach a certain amount of ticks the function returns. As should the loop function.
