Picaxe code for line follower

tHIS POST IS A MESS. iT IS EDITED SEVERAL TIMES AND MAKES NO MORE SENCE. i HAVE NO TIME TO DO MORE ABOUT IT: bOTTOM LINE IS THAT THERE IS ATTACHED A ZIP-FILE WITH ALL i EVER DID INlINE-SENSORING FOR pICAXE!

Chris the carpenter asked for picaxe code to line follower.

First you have to hook up the sensors to the analouge in. That is a chapter for itself, but in the end you will have a value for each sensor; 0-255

I have tried some different line-sonsors, once JIP and I was playing around with them.

Nice litle set of belt-tracks. Kinda cute! http://www.solarbotics.com/products/gmtpkg/ Price is for a pair! You will need to sort out how to mount the 2 axels … Read more

Bunkin Bot

I posted this earlier in my Blog, but now that there is a dedicated video-area in the forum, it should be here.

Sorry, but it did both inspire me and made me laugh :D

This is such a lame thing

- I always thought sections with videos on websites where pretty lame - but here goes, we need one as well, of course, my problems should not be yours.

Here is a robot-video I have found on google :)

Do.. Document your Robot!

It is about a year ago I made a robot called "Skiwalker".

It's parts are used for other robots, and I would have forgotten all about it, if not every now and then when I logged in, someone wrote to me; "Hey, that is a nice walkthrough, cool, helped me, inspired me" etc..

That is so NICE! It often makes my day, to get that kind of feedback without warning for a long forgotten thing I did.

And all I did at the time was to remember to film / take pictures.

I ordered lots of stuff

I ordered lots of stuff to build Yellow Drum Machine II, and I cannot wait for it to arrive. I cannot wait for it to arrive. I cannot wait for it to arrive. I cannot wait for it to arrive. It should arrive any day now. From Solarbotics and Picaxe.

Cheaper mini-pager-motors for us NOW!

Guys.. We must be able to find these extremely agile motors cheaper somewhere:

(CowGod keeps burning them, and I am using all my doe on just buying more and more)

They are so cool - but it must be possible to get them cheaper!

Anyone with a friend in China or something?

Never mind the wheels, they are fair priced at Solarbotics, cheap at least - one can just buy 100 of these if needed. But the motors are an alternative to servos in many ways, and they are so small, light, strong, fast..love!

i bought in to this deal - and it really is the most funny set of motor & wheel I have encountered so far: http://www.solarbotics.com/products/gm10w_deal/ Cool … Read more
I bought some small tilt-sensors. basicly they where a small metal capsule with a ball inside. When tilted, the contact was switched on/off. I thought this was … Read more

I am making a part II of "Your first Robot"

I think I have a lot of experience to pass on to first/second time robot builders, so instead of making a new "drumming robot"-kind of project, I am working on a new tutorial, "Part II of How to build your first robot" :)

Stay tuned, those with interest!
